Here at Coral Stone & Marble our goal is to provide our clients with the materials and customer service they need to ensure their projects works out in the best way possible. These past couple of months we have been working diligently and efficiently throughout this pandemic to provide experience and leadership to our clients. Today, marks the third month that our Chicago Bricks Style line NORTH TOWN BRICKS has been advertised throughout the states. The picture you see above is a recent project in South Florida. This is a perfect example of how our Chicago Bricks can be in your driveway next! Note how not all individual bricks are not the same color, some are lighter and some are darker. Although, we can fabricate bright red and lighter shades of red; this client was really satisfied with the end product. The different shades give the driveway some life as not all are the exact same. Currently, we are producing about 10,000 SF per month and have plenty in stock. The vibrant, red bricks are perfect for driveways, wall veneers, and to be used as driveway pavers. Coral Stone Columns 

When our clients come into the office and ask our representatives for recommendations when it comes to using Coral Stone we usually reply with one phrase, “Well, that depends how creative you would like to get.” As many of our representatives explain to our clients, Coral Stone can be used to create the dream private residence or even for small designer cuts for businesses.

            First, let me begin by explaining how the process for cutting this delicate stone works. Standard sizes are saw cut using a circular saw with water acting as a lubricant. Special/custom orders are cut using a C&C machine. What is this machine? Well, this special machinery is used for laser precise cuts used for custom pieces. For instance, in the picture below you may ask how the coral stone columns are cut. However, using this precise C&C machinery we can cut to exact dimensions that re requested by the client/architect. If one looks closely at the bottom of the column, we can notice that there are several different edges starting from the point where the column meets the floor to its top. The C&C machine works with the dimensions of how the client wants the stone. This allows us to cut precise and exact cuts specific for your Coral Stone needs. This allows the customer to be creative with how they want to use this wonderful natural stone.

            Furthermore, we can use these machines not only to make large columns and pieces, but to fabricate the stone YOU want for YOUR specific uses. To use the picture as an example, using the C&C machine these columns cad add a colonial finish to the project. The columns add a rustic yet traditional texture to the area surrounding it. Driveway Bricks Installation

Old Town Bricks, our newest addition to our collection adds to our line of building materials. For the past 15 years we have focused on Coral Stone that adds a tropical sensation to your project. However, we decided it was best for consumers and ourselves to expand into the realm of Chicago style bricks. Our line of bricks is manufactured in the Dominican Republic and shipped directly to the US or to the consumer. Our motto, “Built today, yesterday’s tradition” represents our mission to rebuild and promote the materials used in the past for an authentic and traditional resemblance. Throughout the US, Europe, and many other continents around the world, brick blocks were used as a basis and starting point throughout the centuries. Our bricks are especially crafted to withstand weight, rain or shine, and the harshest weather conditions to keep the brick bright red. With this said there are a variety of uses for a material such as brick. Brick blocks can be used for wall veneer, driveways, or even large-scale projects such as churches, homes, etc. The history of bricks creates a ‘look’ that other materials cannot replicate. Today, we share a design idea that works for tropical or pool areas. The natural coral stone is simply top of the line when it comes to building material for your pool. However, we decided to announce a more creative and sleek finish to the stone. Our new coral stone long cuts allow for a contemporary look to any pool deck or outdoor seating area, and also comes at a much affordable price. This stone is perfect for warm, rainy, and moist climates. Since the stone is 100% natural coral stone it is water-resistant and most importantly, it does not retain heat like other materials. Coral Stone Bricks

Back in February of this year, we posted an article based on the combination of Coral Stone and brick. If interested please check it out, however, this article is less on the combination of both elements but an actual brick material made up of natural Coral Stone entirely. This product is unique due its shape of course, but more importantly incredibly eye-catching because of the abstract and different shapes and fossils that glide across the brick surface. For those projects that involve a rustic, medieval, or even classic look, coral stone bricks will make your wall veneer, decor piece, or simple accent pieces attract the naked eye. These bricks come in the typical brick size or we can cut to size as well. Although these bricks are mainly used for wall veneers, designing and decor is about imagination and experimenting with patterns, or new material to develop a certain feeling and environment. We also carry 100% natural coral stone bricks tumbled which gives the edges some texture and looks great partnered with dark wood or a gray surface. 

Boulders - Blocks

At Coral Stone USA we are happy to introduce our new, all-natural coral stone boulder blocks. These blocks can be used in a variety of ways and are limited by your creativity. From retaining walls to decor pieces placed strategically for a unique landscape. These blocks are made of 100% coral stone imported from our quarry in the Dominican Republic. At the quarry the blocks are mined safely meanwhile, protecting the environment as we do so. The blocks are especially crafted and left in their natural form. Although the stone blocks seem too big for any use, they can be used as retaining walls or even benches. A stone block of this magnitude not only grabs the attention of anyone walking by but it takes you to the islands of the Caribbean and makes one feel like they are near paradise. I must admit, I am a little biased due to the fact that my family is Dominican, but being born and raised in the USA I have much appreciation for architects that go above and beyond while using these blocks. If you ever have the chance to visit Pompano Beach Blvd in South Florida you will see natural coral stone benches used along the boardwalk. This is an authentic way to experience the stone for yourself, or even realize that these benches are nowhere near uncomfortable, but actually very appealing to the glutes! Fantastic Royal Leather

Coral Stone USA is offering a new line of material coming into our product line, we introduce Fantastic Royal Leather. Fantastic Royal Leather is no exaggeration of the product but in a one word, magisterial. This product is extremely tough, rigid, and stable. When designing projects around this material, it is extremely efficient and effective when used for driveways, pool pavers, or structural building blocks.

The Royal Leather is a great way to make your home or resort stand out when surrounded by other projects. Also, this material is an alternative option to those same boring stamped concrete driveways. As someone who has seen this type of material used in a driveway, stepping out of your vehicle onto a pearlescent light stone brightens your day. As well as, the stone being heat resistant, strong enough to retain extensive weight, and non-slip it can change your old driveway into a magisterial entrance to your home.

White Marble Deck

Here at Coral Stone USA we are excited to announce our new line of Ice White marble stone. The stone features an eye catching glow of white across the entire surface, and is finished off with a sand blast to ensure and increase grip for outdoor applications like patios and pool decks. This stone has a variety of functions that include indoor and outdoor projects.  For instance, in regards to indoor uses, this stone can be used for counter tops, wall veneers, and/or flooring. The sparkling white calls for a futuristic, modern, contemporary finish and when combined with soft colors the marble adds a glow to the space. Furthermore, the marble is a consistent reflector of bright light, so if one adds some white lights to the area it creates this unique essence of majestic space. For use in counter tops, this ice white marble is perfect because it is not affected by any direct heat, and remains a smooth, non-stick surface for any culinary activities. 

Outdoor applications are incredible as shown in the pictures above. The Ice White marble surrounding the beautiful blue color of the pool is an exquisite design for modern pools. The splashes of grey along the marble also intrigue the human eye and call for constant admiration. Although it is never recommended to run around a pool for safety reasons; the Ice White marble is topped off with a sand blast option to create a more consistent grip along the material for those times of the kids getting in and out of the pool. 

Bricks & Coral Stone

I recently attended a wedding ceremony, and the interior of the venue was a unique combination that in all my years of practice I had never seen something quite like this before. The venue was located in the area of Coconut Grove located in South Florida. The venue, The Cruz Building, is a magisterial three story venue adorned with old town bricks along the walls combined with natural coral stone. As someone who is in the decor industry I have never witnessed the intrinsically, thought out combination of both Coral Stone and bricks. This example created an architectural masterpiece along the inside of the walls that felt as if one was in an architectural wonderland. In my opinion, what was special about the decor was not only the material that was used but also how they added certain pieces to complement the material. For instance, the border and columns throughout the venue had gas-lit candles that shined a constant flame that reflected off the stone and abroad the room. The use of these candles and stone caused a romantic yet antique vibe and mood to the entire place. When one looks at the candle's reflection and then takes in the stunning bricks that are placed perpendicular to the stone, instantly ‘wow’ comes to mind. The terrace was something out of a movie, especially with a staircase made of natural Coral Stone that can only foreshadow the grand three story masterpiece one’s about to enter. All in all, when combining some of these materials together one can create a scene that one only sees in movies, dreams, and fairy tales.

With the next decade already in motion at Coral stone USA we try each year to pursue new projects, and provide new options for our clients. Our intentions with having a machine that can not only cut to size but create solid blocks, and many other unique structural pieces is to allow for other uses of Coral Stone. This machine allows us to fabricate distinct architectural stone, retaining walls, support structures, and even comfortable, stylish benches for patios or park benches. As advancement in technology progresses we are allowed to design and fabricate support beams and other structures that will expand the barrier of coral stone.  Although, coral stone is mainly used for pool decks due to its unique features. Our vision at Coral Stone expands much further than imaginable. Using Coral Stone to build, per say, support beams across the interior of a home, or building will add a tropical, warm environment. The luxurious, eye-catching style of Coral Stone can change the dynamic of any project whether that be a home, office building, or a villa that looks onto the beach. Chicago Bricks

This exciting 2020 will bring many great things to Coral Stone USA. Not only are we expanding our warehouse and offices, but we are introducing Chicago Brick into our catalog. Chicago style brick is used for driveways, pools, and wall veneers. This bright red/orange color adds life and a vibrant finish to any driveway or wall. The product itself is widely used in Europe, on sidewalks, pavement, and ledges.  In terms of a commercial use, the Chicago style brick can be very useful due to the ridges and borders it has. Due to this, damage from skaters or action sports enthusiast is limited and much less when comparing other public surfaces. This is an affordable alternative for projects that are going to be in use constantly, for example, a driveway in which there will be cars coming in and out. Or, public platforms to sit, relax, and enjoy a coffee.  Chicago style brick enhances your outdoor decor and appearance of your home, project, or commercial building.
